Best SaaS SEO agencies and what they really charge

The US market for SaaS SEO starts at five thousand dollars a month and runs to forty. Here is who actually competes, what they charge, what you get for it — and an honest note on where we fit and where you should hire someone else.

Nine pages seriously compete for this search in the US. I know, because I pulled the SERP on 12 October 2026 and counted. From position ten onward Google runs out of relevant results and starts padding: the International Atomic Energy Agency, a Paramount+ series trailer, the Vermont Agency of Commerce, Wikipedia's article on agency in sociology, the EPA, DARPA, the Defense Intelligence Agency, the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency.

That tells you something before we get to any agency. This is not a crowded market. It is a small group of firms, most of whom publish a list of their competitors and put themselves at the top of it.

So does this page have a list. Mine does not put SEOquick first, and the rest of this piece explains why that is a deliberate decision rather than modesty.

Key takeaways

  • The US entry price is $5,000 a month. I pulled published rates from twelve agencies. The floor runs from $1,000 to $12,000; the median entry point is exactly $5,000, and the ceiling is $40,000.
  • Nine real competitors, then filler. Google cannot fill the first page with relevant results, which means a decent page can enter the top ten. The keyword difficulty is 7 out of 100.
  • Nine of seventeen agencies rewrote their positioning around AI search this year — not in a blog post, in the title tag of their homepage. Siege Media, a content and links agency with a long history, now calls itself a full-service GEO agency.
  • Every list you will find was written by an agency that ranked itself first. Including the lists published by the three sources I used to build this one.
  • Two Reddit threads hold positions one and six. People searching this do not want a landing page. They want someone with no stake in the answer.

Why I am publishing a list after saying I would not

In September I published a piece on choosing an SEO agency. It opens like this: we are an SEO agency ourselves, so you will not find a ranking of the best here, because that ranking always ends with the author in first place.

I still think that. And here I am with a ranking.

Here is what changed my mind. A person typing «best SaaS SEO agency» into Google is not asking for a procedure. They are asking for a shortlist. Refusing to give one does not make me honest, it makes me useless — they go to the next tab and read a list written by someone who absolutely did put themselves on top.

So the list exists, and the promise holds in the only way it can: I am not first on it. I am in the section for companies whose budget does not reach the US floor, because that is where SEOquick actually belongs. If you have $10,000 a month for SaaS SEO, three of the agencies below will serve you better than I will, and I say which ones.

What SaaS SEO actually costs in the US

This is the number the lists tend to bury. I collected the entry price from every agency that publishes one — twelve out of eighteen do, the rest say «custom».

Entry prices of twelve US SaaS SEO agencies on a scale from one thousand to twelve thousand dollars a month, with the median at five thousand
Entry price from each agency's own page or published rate, pulled 12 October 2026. Twelve of eighteen agencies state one.

The median entry point is $5,000 a month. Siege Media's content programmes run $12,000 to $30,000 and its clients spend from $60,000 to over $2.5 million a year. Animalz quotes $10,000 to $40,000. At the other end, Position Digital starts at $2,000 and Loopex takes projects from $1,000.

Read that range the way a buyer should: the spread is not a discount ladder for the same work. At $2,000 you are buying a specialist's part-time attention. At $12,000 you are buying a team, a content studio and a link programme. Both can be the right call. Neither is the other one with a markup.

The shortlist

Six of these were named by more than one of the three independent lists I cross-checked. Omniscient Digital was named by all three.

The agencies

Omniscient Digital

beomniscient.com, 12 October 2026

The only agency named by all three lists I checked. Strategy-led authority content tied to pipeline, for established B2B SaaS. Engagements start around $10,000 a month, budgets quoted up to $25,000.

If you have that budget and a product with a defined category, this is the safe pick. If you are pre-revenue, you are not the client they want and the engagement will feel like it.

Siege Media

siegemedia.com, 12 October 2026. The headline is the thing to notice — more on that below.

Design-led content and earned links, with Airbnb, Asana, Audible, Healthline, Instacart, Intuit, Kraken and PayPal on the homepage. Content strategy runs $12,000 to $30,000; the agency says clients spend from $60,000 to over $2.5 million a year.

This is the top of the market. The work is genuinely good and the price reflects a studio, not a consultant.

Skale

Homepage of Skale
skale.so, 12 October 2026

Organic growth engines for SaaS, aimed at Series A and B, with a floor around $8,000 to $10,000 a month. Their pitch is reporting against MRR and signups rather than rankings, which is the right axis — and the one I would press them hardest on in a sales call, because the measurement is only as good as the attribution behind it.

Rock The Rankings

Homepage of Rock The Rankings
rocktherankings.com, 12 October 2026

Senior-only staffing for post-PMF B2B SaaS in the US and EU, with three published tiers at $5,000, $8,500 and $15,000. Publishing the tiers at all puts them ahead of most of this list on transparency.

Minuttia

Homepage of Minuttia with the headline Dominate AI Search
minuttia.com, 12 October 2026

Senior-led content strategy and AI search, based in Greece, at around $4,000 a month — joint cheapest of the credible options here. A European team serving US SaaS, which is the same structural position I am in, at roughly three times my price.

Breaking B2B

Homepage of Breaking B2B
breakingb2b.com, 12 October 2026

Bottom-of-funnel SEO for Series A and B, run by the founder, $4,000 to $4,600 a month. Their own list of seventeen agencies is one of the three I used to build this page — and yes, Breaking B2B is first on it.

Animalz

Homepage of Animalz
animalz.co, 12 October 2026

Thought leadership and category authority for enterprise SaaS, $10,000 to $40,000 a month. The most expensive name on this page.

Grow and Convert

Homepage of Grow and Convert
growandconvert.com, 12 October 2026

Interview-based bottom-of-funnel content for mid-market B2B SaaS, from $9,000 to $10,000 a month, with a stated policy of no AI writing in client content. In 2026 that is a position, not a footnote, and it is worth asking any agency on this page where they stand on it.

Nine of seventeen rebranded around AI search this year

I checked the homepage title tag of every agency here. Nine of seventeen have put AI search, GEO or AEO into the title itself — not into a blog post, into the one line that states what the company is.

Two readings of this, and you need both. The honest one: AI answers genuinely changed how buyers find software, and an agency that ignores it is selling you last year's work. The cynical one: GEO is the easiest repositioning in a decade, because nobody can yet prove or disprove a result in it.

Which is why the question to ask is not «do you do GEO». Everyone will say yes. Ask what they measure, how often, and what the number was for their last client in your category before they started.

I will read any proposal you have on the table

Send me the quote you got from any agency on this page, or any other. I will tell you what the line items mean, which numbers are checkable and which are decoration, and whether the price matches the scope — about the agency you chose, not about me.

Free, and it commits you to nothing. I would rather you hire the right agency than the wrong one that happens to be me.

Where SEOquick fits, and where it does not

English homepage of SEOquick
seoquick.com.ua/en, 12 October 2026

We are an agency in Odesa, Ukraine. We have been paid on sixty-one English-market projects. On the software side specifically: Norby, an AI agent for support and sales; AI Lawyer, a legal assistant; ManualMachine, a technical-documentation library; SweetCV, a resume builder; Antispoofing, an encyclopedia of biometric liveness detection; Email Preview Services. Plus two products we built and run ourselves, semchat and unmiss.

Our prices are below the bottom of the chart above. That is a fact, not a sales argument, and you should interrogate it rather than enjoy it. What you get for it: senior attention, because the team is small and I am on the account. What you do not get: a content studio, a US-based link outreach team with existing newsroom relationships, or a partner your board has heard of.

Do not hire us if you have $10,000 a month and a category to win — hire Omniscient or Siege Media. If your reporting has to survive a CFO who wants attribution down to pipeline, hire Skale. If your content strategy is the product, hire Grow and Convert.

Talk to us if your budget is real but under the US floor, if you want the person doing the work on the call, or if you are selling into Europe as well as the States — we have paid projects in Poland, Latvia, Greece, Cyprus, Canada and the US, and the outreach economics in those markets are not the same.

How to actually choose

The three lists I cross-checked disagree on names and agree almost exactly on criteria. Here is the intersection, in the order I would weight it.

Named clients with checkable outcomes. Not «a SaaS client grew 300%». A company name, a date, and a number you can verify in a third-party tool. If an agency will not name a single client in your category, that is the answer.

Reporting against pipeline, not rankings. Signups, trials, demos, revenue. Ask what they will report in month three and ask to see a real example with the client's name redacted but the structure intact.

Who does the work. The person in the sales call is often not the person on the account. Ask directly, and ask what happens when that person has four other clients.

A specific answer on AI search. See above. The claim is universal now; the measurement is not.

Scope written down before money moves. How many pages, who writes them, who approves, what happens to the links and the content if you leave. We wrote a separate piece on what belongs in the contract because this is where most of the regret lives.

The exit. Ask what you keep. Content, usually yes. Links, depends who paid the publisher. Accounts and data, always ask in writing.

Questions people actually ask

How much should SaaS SEO cost per month?

In the US, $4,000 to $5,000 is the realistic entry point from an agency that specialises in SaaS, and $10,000 to $30,000 buys a full team. Below $2,000 in the US market you are buying a freelancer's time, which can be the right answer — just know which one you are buying.

Why does Reddit rank first for this search?

Because every other result is written by a company with a stake in the answer, and readers know it. Two r/SaaS threads hold positions one and six on this query. If you read nothing else before signing, read the threads — and then verify what the commenters claim, because they have stakes too.

Is GEO or AI search optimisation worth paying for separately?

Usually not as a separate line item. The work that gets a page cited in an AI answer — a clear extractable answer near the top, real structure, sources, an author with a track record — is the same work that ranks it. Be careful with anyone selling GEO as a product with its own price tag and no measurement.

Does a SaaS SEO agency need to be in the US?

For the work, no. For link outreach to US publications, a team with existing relationships there has a real advantage, and you should ask where their outreach people sit. We are honest about this: our outreach is strongest in Ukraine and Eastern Europe, and in the US we buy fewer placements for the same money.

What is the difference between SaaS SEO and regular SEO?

The buying cycle and the keyword set. SaaS buyers compare products before they buy, so comparison, alternative and integration pages carry the revenue, while top-of-funnel traffic mostly carries the brand. An agency that treats a SaaS site like an ecommerce catalogue will produce traffic that never converts.

How long before this shows up in pipeline?

Six months is the honest floor for a site starting from a weak position, and that is to see a trend, not a payback. Anyone promising pipeline in month two is either sitting on a site that was already strong or is not counting the same way you are.

I will refresh the prices on this page as agencies change them. If you find a figure that has moved, or an agency that belongs here and is missing, tell me and I will check it.
